What form is used for a detached condo?

Interesting...

So for FHA a site condo would go on a 1004, however, for conventional and VA loans a site condo would go on a 1073. Is that correct?

As for conventional, I've done bona fide "site condos" on both forms in the past. I usually call the lender ahead of time and let them know that it is a site condo, then let them make the decision.

As for VA, I don't know what they require as I am not on their approved panel.

Okay, thanks for your input RSW.

My question to HUD was more about what is their definition of a "site condo" rather than what appraisal form I should use.

Apparently, they consider any completely detached condominium unit a site condo. I was just dumbfounded because that is generally not the true definition of a site condo, at least not in my area.
