What has she done...

She's likeable and in general most seem to be supporting her so looks like she's a good spokesperson for TAF- and better then what they had before.

...maybe frank can fill us in what she has done in the last year? 6 months? month? week? yesterday? please something

While her role as a former chief regulator for appraisers indicates deep industry expertise and regulatory oversight experience, the provided text does not verify if she personally maintains a licensed appraiser credential.

So let me get this straight. We have a person who's never been a licensed appraiser in charge of writing the rules for licensed appraisers Nationwide.

Might as well change the name of the Org from TAF to TPDCF......The Property Data Collectors Foundation.

she was making 300k before the promotion...and still not one post on a thing she has done

The CEO of Dell doesn't assemble computers either. The job at TAF isn't doing physical inspections on row houses-it's about working with the others in the field who share different skills. A team effort brings in viewpoints from different angles.

Whatever She's been doing it sure beats walking around with a old clipboard and a steel tape while reminiscing about how good things were back in the year 1999...lmao )

The primary role of the TAF President is administration of the TAF and its staff. The President has no vote on the ASB or the AQB. Those boards function independently of the President.

They didn't know that small detail but facts don't really matter to many on this forum.

Does it? I couldn’t imagine a worse existence than meetings and conferences, maybe fundraising and whatever else that position entails. trips to DC to meet with political staff, etc. Hell, is it even a full-time job? Maybe she does something else? That would be fitting. Oversee a major organization in a gig profession, you should have a gig yourself. :rof:

Once you reach CEO/pres level status, it’s just a revolving door. You get passed around from company to company. About 30 years ago is when companies stopped promoting people that knew what the company did and started promoting from the finance department. Now the quickest way to become CEO is to work your way up through the CFO rank.

The “foundation” business is pretty big in DC. Pretty lucrative too. It’s good to be in a business that others are forced to fund without much say.
