Any time an entity attempts to take (tax) money away from an individual, the individual will attempt to evade the taking.
A corollary to this is: As the taking (taxes) increases, individuals will band together to change the system.
Our government (and members of all parties/affiliations) would be wise to keep this in mind. And, while history is full of such examples, the best one (IMO) is back in 1776.
