i stumbled upon this forum yesterday and have been hooked since. i've found a lot of interesting info and have been reading as much as possible. i'm currently going to school in los angeles cali to get my license, just the USPAP course and i can apply for my state test. i've seen a lot mentioned about E&O insurance.............what is E&O? thanks for any help.........newbie question i'm sure.

Stands for Errors and Omissions ..... it covers professionals in this and many other professions for liability involving mistakes that may be made. Very important tool for any professional who write reports, fills out applications or deals with intangibles.

Welcome to the forum...read away and feel free to ask questions. Suprised E & O didn't come up in your course work...maybe in the USPAP portion.

Usually not available for trainees or registered appraisers but you can be covered under your mentor's policy.
