It is almost Christmas and family is asking me if I want a telescoping ladder. I have heard of little gaint, gorrilla, and the telescoping ladder from appraiser depot. I want it mainly for getting into scuttles.

I've got the 12' telescoping ladder from Appraiser's Depot. Works well. Don't get the case; instead, secure the ladder with a 36" bungee cord to enable you to carry it without it opening. This thing is sturdy, light, and gets into tight places easily. But read the directions carefully.

I got a very similar ladder off of QVC, it's only 11 feet tall but telescopes down to 18 inches. And it was $200 not $270 which is quite a bit of $$$ saved for just a foot taller. It has a cord with a handle that wraps around it to secure it and make it easy to carry.

I don't do scuttles or crawl spaces. That's what trainees are for.

What's dis ladder you talk about?

Keller telescoping ladder form Walmart. About $100.

The three foot step ladder in the trunk of my car and my 6'4" height means I can view 95% of attics. The 5% I can't view call for way more than a folding ladder.

I picked up a telescoping ladder years ago when they first came out. It's always with me and I absolutely love it!

My wife thinks I am a clutz and want to buy me an aframe telescoping. She thinks they are safer.
