REVAA likes to talk about how they want what is best for the appraisal profession. Many REVAA members try to convince appraisers that we are in a partner relationship. REVAA claims to be many things. Well maybe this is an opportunity for them to do something that most appraisers would find to be a good thing.
When is REVAA going to take a stand and ostracize themselves from Brian Coester and his despicable AMC? Surely this is a no-brainer.
Brian Coester has notoriously not paid appraisers in a timely manner,
Appraisers over the last decade have posted on this forum that in order to get paid they have to contact his AMC multiple times,
Brian Coester's AMC has been sanctioned by multiple states for unlawful behavior,
Brian Coester's own appraisal license was sanctioned for many USPAP infractions,
Brian Coester was involved in a lawsuit with one of his executives where he harassed the guy because of his sexual orientation,
Brian Coester for a second time was sending out checks to appraisers that were not honored by his bank,
Brian Coester has a history of spousal abuse,
Brian Coester is involved in a lawsuit for hacking into an appraiser's personal computer and e-mail.
The above is only a partial list of despicable things that this man has done to put a stain on the AMC industry and it seems logical that REVAA would seek the high road and sever their relationship with him and eliminate him from the organization.
Most likely no appraiser thinks REVAA might even think about doing the right thing concerning this guy but one can hope. We won't hold our breath as we will most likely turn blue.
