But.....it's not a problem to base the square footage / GLA off of these records for.......say......a 2055......right?
Lol - I heard the best rant about this in the class I was just taking....the teacher first asked everyone in the class if they had ever heard of / done a 2055...basically everyone raises their hands
He then got all the students to talk about similar instances to this post (where county records / MLS / etc were way off and had nothing to do with reality / accuracy).
He then "connected the dots" for those that hadn't done so themselves and said so you don't trust the records do you? No! But it's ok to use this info as one of basis for developing a value? Well....I guess not......lol
Apparently they're about to do away with the use of the 2055 for financing / mortgage lending purposes (in NC at least, not sure if that's national or not)
