WHen I turned on the 'puter this morning, my Internet Explorer came up as a Blank Page? What's up with that? How's the best way to restore the Explorer page? Thanks in advance!!

usually means your IE has been hijacked by a trojan, virus, or IE Spy which has re-directed your IE.

try rebooting your pc in SAFE MODE, running your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware programs. reboot.

if still same problem - run system restore

if XP2, click start, programs, accessories, system tools, system restore.....select a restore point several days prior ......... when done .......reboot........

run antivirus and antispy again.

also recommend............should you able to get on line......

run trend micro's HOUSECALL65 free online scanner and removal program - takes a while but usually gets most or all of the "bugs" your regular Antivirus & Antispy programs miss.

also suggest downloading www.ccleaner.com free UTILITY Cleaning tool run several times daily. cleans out temporary internet files - many of which can conceal "bugs", also speeds up PC

Tools...Internet Options...Home Page.

Add the URL of your home page there. XP is quirky and sometimes drops your home page and adds a 'blank' instead.
