I had a call come in asking for an appraisal to be done for an estate and the property is a duplex. I have done more estates than I can count, and unfortunately more duplexes than I care to remember, but I am wondering if there is a form anyone could suggest other than the 1025?

Thanks.

Look in your appraisal software's form suite. You should have a category called "non lender" and there should be a 2-4 form. There is in Bradford.

I agree with previous posters. Since this for an estate do not use any of Fannie / Freddie forms--those are for mortgages only.

The AI Format allows you to add or subtract pages to customize your appraisal. I have used this form for several different multi family appraisals and reccomend it.

Narrative...but that's just me

Narratives are a pain in the neck for most residential appraisers who are used to working with forms. For one thing, it's difficult to create adjustments grids that actually work.

Thanks for the help, it was appreicated

So does the Wintotal General Purpose, GP Appraisal Report Form.
