Which picture would you use?

I love the Hopster.

I would use photo number one, but then I always try to include a picture of the front and one side of the house and then I take the rear of the house from the opposite side. that way using just two pictures I have shown all four sides of the subject. Picture number 2 would go in the cover page.

Use photo #3...

Greg .. would you then have to give credit within your report something along the lines of ....

Photo provided courtsey of the appraiser who fully acknowledges the roll of Adobe Software in its production.

Mellencamp fan?

If I did that they'd be on to me in a heart beat. Duh!

Ron, I would use both. It's rare that I use just three subject photos. BTW both seem rather low resolution but I don't know if you modified them to post here.

Here's a half-bath picture I didn't use last week. The owner was kind enough to turn the water on for me.

I would use the first one. Some picky U/W's might think you are trying to
hide deterioration (missing siding, etc) on the exterior of the house with
the tree in the way. I think photo 1 is a far better photo too.

Photo #2 might imply a minority neighborhood because of the graffiti on the wall.

Gotta be politically correct, ya know.

I'd use both but I wouldn't put one on the cover page and another on the front, street, rear page. The cover will just get thrown out, it is not a number page. I've used the page with six photos for my front, rear and street before where down one row I have one direction for F-R-S and the other row it is the opposite direction on each. You could also use the four page photo page. I don't think there is a rule that you MUST use the 3 photo page option, just that those three photos at a minimum must be provided. Another option I've done would be to include an alternate front photo in an extra photo page, since I always include at least 5 interior pictures anyway, I have used the sixth slot for the alternate front. Just make sure your pages are numbered so no one can throw one away the page without it being noticed easily.
