I'm looking to upgrade my Certified Residential license to a Certified General because lets face it, residential work will be non existent in the near future and I need to take advantage of my commercial hours before they expire.

Could I get some feedback on which schools offer General classes and any additional thoughts on why you chose that particular school?

Thanks guys

AI, ASA, ASFMRA , Columbia Institute
Do it and don't wait. If it requires travel, just do it. I have taken classes in Little Rock, Hot Springs, Nashville, Denver, Okla. City, Tulsa, Wichita, Ruidoso & Albuquerque, as well as Houston. Borrow the money, if necessary. (links in blue for each)

All have strengths. Business & equipment, ASA
ASFMRA agriculture
AI - commercial
CI - mixed bag, but did have a strong presence in Texas at least until Geo. Harrison sold to Corelogic

Thanks a bunch.

I found https://checkout.mckissock.com/magi/commonforms/shoppingcart/viewCart.aspx?pe=False with adding a coupon code for $300 off the totaling $1699 and I get to take these 5 courses online too!

I have never dealt with McKissock, but this seems like a pretty good deal to me.

Go for it but check your state requirements. They may require face time for some classes. But don't be surprised if you flunk the state exam...
