I was wondering what kind of tool bag would be good choice for holding tape, reel tape, laser, and so on. I looked at home depot but the tool bags were a little too big.

Here's a little advice. Get a Disto that fits in your shirt pocket, get a camera, maybe the Kodak 570 that fits in your pants pocket, put your cell phone on a holster, and keep your lock-box key pad in the car.

Look like a professional, not like Batman.

What is wrong with batman's belt?

I like a simply belly bag, like joggers wear. Go to a gun show and get one of the large ones with a concealed carry holster in the pouch.

I just carry a tape, small camera, and a legal pad. Nothing fancy, and nothing bulky to carry around. Used to put my camera in my pants pocket, but sometimes the button would hit and flash. Then an astute toddler saw a flash and mentioned Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Sure kid, what ever. :) Now I just look like any other appraiser nerd with the camera around my neck.

I use a utility belt and carry my disto, 25' engineers tape, angle protractor, laser square device, camera, LED flashlight, red laser glasses, a hook for my clipboard (hole in clipboard at end), reflective tape, supra key, cell phone, and utility pliers knife. It keeps me from going back and forth to the car or juggling and fumbling and always flapping my arms to hold the clip board and other items. I purchased a utility belt and moved it around to my functionality, the hammer holder I took it off. But if you are Handy you can modify it to your liking.

I prefer a gunslinger's belt....if the HO sasses me I just finger the hammer on the .44 :) or maybe a belt of Scotch..nah, Henry McKenna..cheap and good.

Seriously, I use Mavicas because of the neck strap, my disto & Fat Max have loops. I carry the clipboard. No tool belt

Mr. Goodpasture....a BELLY Bag...I had this preconceived notion of you being a manly man.....a guy dring a Ford F-150 with 4WD, gun rack in the back, hitch on the back with a wench that would pull anything out of a ditch......

But then you say BELLY bag...dude, some of the other posts sound kinda geeky, but you have ruined my mental perception, Belly bag sounds girly-girl, not manly man.....:cryingsmiley:

Logger tape sits in my back pocket on top of my
wallet. I'm thinking of getting one of those
cybershot cameras for interior photos since the
SLR is too bulky. I don't want to spend more than
15-20 minutes at the property or columnist would
think I was earning my money legitimately.
