Who pays AMC on VA assignment?

Let lender sue VA for privity? LMAO

AMC may be donating services for VA work. No privity involved between appraiser and AMC. None.

VA engages appraiser on loans they guarantee. There is privity there. They require lender to pay appraiser. There is privity there.

It would be an extremely unique situation for an AMC to manage VA appraisals, as VA is the one who assigns the appraisals to the individual appraiser, not the AMC. In addition, the appraiser's fee is mandated by VA, so the AMC cannot take a margin out of that fee. In addition, the completed appraisal is delivered directly to the VA portal, not the AMC's portal. There is just no incentive for an AMC to manage VA appraisals, and I'm not sure VA even allows OMS integration with their portal...

It happens. My question is who pays them? Nobody? Is it a donation?

Truth in lending disclosures are not right.
