Still not clear. Job postings are job postings and I do not think AI looks at every posting for a position and says, ooh, that is a member of REVAA so we better not post it. I took the quote as the REVAA emblem on the website as endorsed. Guess I do not see job postings as endorsements.

Guess it was inferred. I don't see it as endorsement. Just see it as job postings. Wouldn't Indeed, Monster, LinkedIn also then endorse if advertising job postings that involve REVAA affiliations?

I believe there is one. Think others offer classes as well. My point is, job postings are not positions, and I suspect most appraisal organizations have job postings. As to education, if one source is referenced throughout the industry, then education related to it is helpful and does not mean endorsement of anything other than methodology.

The problem is you don't resign after 45 years in any trade group "that's " called retiring "and in my opinion it's a little like having your business partner served dissolution papers when he's in a coma and has been given 12 to 24 hours to live. NOT a big fan of AI but even I would have shut my big-mouth if I was leaving especially after 45 years.

it was the AI one who first breathed life into the future shortage ... using 3 states as poster children.

And why? And why leave TAF sponsorship? In Albuquerque I sat thru an hour of excuses from the architect of that decision defending himself before two combined chapters who had written to national in opposition to the move. It is as if they didn't care what chapters thought.

The worst part is there is only going to be 3 members at the next local chapter meeting because Pat was the 4th and since the other three are all 60 to 80 years old maybe it's time to quit pretending to be appraisers and join a local VFW and remember the good old days.
