I first noticed it when I was unable to print an envelope. I noticed the day before that there was a fairly major Windows 11 security update. I uninstalled the printer and then attempted to reinstall the software drivers, but it is a big no-go; the software (Windows 8 vintage) doesn't recognize the printer, whether via Ethernet or USB. I can still print from Windows and Word, no problem, but no scan or envelope printing utility. There has to be a workaround.

And you wonder why MS is actually losing Win 11 customers as they switch to Mac, Linux, and revert ack to Win 10?

It's weird Windows recognizes the printer, but the HP utility software can't. I may call HP for some support.

You might try this. I tripped across a similar issue the other day and found some are finding success with VueScan drivers.
