Windows XP?

That is good to hear...I just purchased a new Pentium IV with XP. My 98 had become increasingly unstable causing me to have to reboot several times a day.

I have a question for you gurus. How do I transfer all the data bases and quick lists to the new computer? I want to do a fresh install of Athena on the new computer but want my data bases and quick lists.

Looking forward to this new hot machine.... 1.9 gig system with 528 megs ram, 120 gig hard drive, CD R/W, DVD, and a 17" LCD display.

There's a program called "Ghost" that can do this. You can do it by networking the two together and move the directories, but you can run into data corruption. Talk with your computer sales company. They'll tell you exactly what program works best.

By the way, what we did was network the old box and use it as a file server. That way, we didn't have to move the files.

MIke,

The program "exact" from Alamode is perfect for new computers. I had my new computer re-loaded in less than an hour with exact.
