Dave,

Why don't you make it so Mac users can use Wintotal on a Mac? Or have a cloud based program? I heard that ACI is coming out with cloud/browser based appraisal software in 2015. If that is true, then I will be dumping Alamode and going with ACI. Goodbye PC forever.

Thank you

Buy a Mac, Parallels or other VM software and a copy of windows and you can run whatever windows software you want on a Mac. Sure its more expensive to do it that way but you will be amazed at how stable your windows installation can be. In the nearly three years since i first went that route I am sure the premium paid has long been recouped by the lack of downtime due to weird crashes and replacing crap hardware.

Totally agree. I have a mac mini and run Parallels. Works great with Total. Plus the versatility of being able to use both Mac and PC programs is wonderful. My PC programs work just fine; just as well as on a PC that I also have as a back up.

I might give that a shot.

Good luck with that. No way you would catch me using such a system, particularly if ACI is involved.

I bought the cheapest iMac available in 01/2012, doubled the RAM and that's it for hardware, well except my USB backup disk. Works great on the original version of OSX. No need to be on the constant upgrade path. I think Apple is two or three OSX versions beyond now. Parallels is on v10 now, I'm still running v7. No need to fix what ain't broken.

Parallels 9 + Mavericks supports multiple monitor arrangements better.

You can have a custom dock on the external monitor. It is hidden until you bounce the cursor down to the area, and poof!:icon_mrgreen:

Dave,

Will you offer the OPTION of an appraisal software program that is cloud based? Or maybe a basic version for Mac?
