The Wisconsin Chapter of the Appraisal Institute holds an annual year in review symposium with food and drinks (including Vodka and Olives) but it's in the Metro Milwaukee area which makes for a long drive for most people.

Perhaps someone could consider organizing an event around mid-year closer to Wausau or maybe up in the Eau Claire area. I've talked with a good number of appraisers west of the Wisconsin River on the phone but it would sure be nice to put a face with their names.

Maybe a trip to Madison would be good. Perhaps the same time the board meets What would they think if a bunch of us showed at the next meeting? I don't know but I think people usually start to behave differently if they know they are being observed....

That is soooo true! Sure sounds like Wisconsin could use some close scrutiny.

Pam, my house is your house if you ever want to visit Wisconsin. Maybe we could run down to Rays and take a trail ride, then a road trip to Madison. I wonder if any other cheese heads would like to rally and show up there. Can you imagine 20 or more appraisers showing up? I bet they would c*** their pants!
