With the release of the most recent sales figures from the Commerce Department, it's always fun to go back and re-visit what the NAR was saying about the prospects of a housing bubble:

What's even more amazing is how frequently their "economists" are still quoted in the news media as a reliable, unbiased source of real estate information.

Don't laugh. There are people who believe their forecast, analysis, and their data even today. They tend to be people who are in the same connected business of real estate from sales, to mortgages, to title & escrow, etc.
