The ASC only reports what the states submit to them. The list includes current and past licensed/certified appraisers. When I want to make a list of active appraisers in the state of Arizona I do a custom search for active appraisers only. That eliminates former licensed appraisers that are now certified where they are counted, out of state appraisers who have had a temporary license and appraisers who have had their license revoked.
