That would be nice if there were any CGs taking on trainees. The classes are easy, its finding a mentor that's nearly impossible.
There's not enough commercial work to take anyone on. I have one job in the rack and honestly am barely making it with the current environment we are in.

But you don't want to pay over $5 for hamburger - so we buy all that from Brazil or Mexico. You don't want corn flakes to cost $15...OTOH you want cheap food but high taxes on farmers. It's not working very well in Europe where farmers there are marching en masse.
Globalization is good. Some places cheaper to produce than US and we get to pay lower prices.
During winter, we get our veggies and fruits from the South including Australia.
I recently bought organic Strawberries from Mexico and they were the sweetest I ever tasted.

Commercial appraisers must have it tough. Not only fewer commercial appraisals to do but a continual drop in commercial property prices.
Hope they carry high E&O.

and have to subsidize more people who are under-employed or unemployable. Even Paul Krugman admitted globalization was a failure. In the matter of war, we have the ******* Chinese building Army clothing and shoes... the Czechs and Swiss building our rifles. Who is going to feed us in the event of war? I guess we turn to cannibalism and eat the illegal immigrants.

People need to take more responsible in taking control of their lives. Adapt and stop relying on government.

It's now cheaper to make clothes from Vietnam, India, and other countries than China.
That's how the world economy works. Money goes to the lowest cost for companies and low cost to consumers.
Each country has its own advantages just like US is best in many industries including agriculture.

When you are 60 years old and have an 8th grade education, hard work is all you know but when an immigrant will work for $2 an hour under the table, you're not getting a raise even with a job. If you were a stay at home mother and your family needs help, your only prospect having been 20 years out of the job market is a clerk or something similar low pay job.

Waited months for my first order from Novo, which has pretty good fees for an AMC according to the person who referred me to their panel. Finally got an order, but was away from my email for 2 hours. They sent it to someone else. Bummer!

Got 5 referrals this month from the estate planning firm I started doing billing/admin stuff for last year. Excited about that at leasr.

Tough out there!
