I got really behind with the move to my new home and home office, really needed a slow down to get caught up. Been averaging one assignment a day so far this month and that is a very comfortable pace for me.

Did have five conventional assignments cancel in the last two weeks, mostly refi's. Now I dont even log them in until I do the inspection...tired of doing all the set up and getting nothing for it.

Looks like 2002 will be abit slower than last year but, hey, it's still a great business!

Mine has slowed considerably. After being in this business for 13 years, I now enjoy the down time. Last year was a record and I really don't want to try and match that. Later this month I'm going on a golf trip and then a fishing trip to the Outer Banks. Life is too short.

Hey lazy bones good news!
Did a home today, her husband does ground/core samples for new residential construction.
She said there was "a slow down a month ago" but recently he has been as busy as ever, never a day off.

Ok maybe NEW home sales are hot or.......use your imagination

IM HOPING NEW SALES ARE HOT!!! YES INDEEDIE!

No slow-down here in Delaware. I'll go along with the theory that processors work on their existing files then fax out a load of new requests, all at once. I've been working day and night, harder than ever, since about March 1st. I do the field work, then, like you all, stay up half the night writing them up. Thanks to more tools available on the internet, i.e. county records, flood & census data, & MLS, I'm getting the jobs out faster. E.D.I. is a REAL blessing! The month of January was really slow for me & I was beginning to wonder if telling the Lenders I was backed up, big time, had killed off all my business. I'll not do that again!
