Nailed it. I can generally tell where people get their news/worldview from after chatting with them for a few minutes (TV (CNN/Fox), Reddit, X people, etc). It's rare that you come across folks who actually ask questions vs rolling with the narrative.

The CNN & Reddit people are hopeless, but I will have conversations with the Fox news nuts, most of them still believe in a republic deep down. A good starting point is the book "War is a Racket" written by General Smedley Butler the most decorated soldier in US history. The media machine and academia have moved him to the back shelf of history and treat Benedict Arnold with more respect.

Well, it's mostly a boomer thing, younger gen has started to catch on to the scam. I'll eventually post more on that subject because it's quite a topic. The ex governor, ambassador and political panhandler didn't fare so well in the interview last week.
