Yellow Book references complete vs. limited appraisals, and I have seen appraisers reference Yellow Book reports as being Complete assignments. Even with Yellow Book referencing this distinction isn't it incorrect as USPAP has eliminated these categories since the Yellow Book was written?

Departure became obsolete with the SoW rule long, long ago in a distant land.

I don't know if it has been updated. But using USFLA requires Jur. exceptions according to USFLA...I would avoid it like the plague until someone updates it.

I would google David C. Lennhoff, MAI, and either call or email him with this question. Mr. Lennhoff is an expert in Yellow Book instruction and will be able to address the question with the utmost authority.
