You know you're getting old when

1st point at pickleball on Thursday, a lob over my partner's head-she won't be able to get it so I do. I don't know if I hit something a bit sticky on the court or just got my feet tangled but... left knee hits first (floor burn) right knee and right hand hit next while I roll to land exactly on right deltoid to avoid careening into a set of metal bleachers.

Played 2 more hours and luckily not the worse for wear. Only discomfort is the burnt kneecap.

Pickleball is a dangerous game, good thing you didn't break a hip.

Pickle ball is a bigger verion of ping pong. I love ping pong.
I hate the long handle on the tennis racket. Feels like i have no control waving it in the air.

Speaking of pickleball, in this high end area of SF, neighbors complained of the pickleball sound in the city park.
It's not good to live next to pickleball sound. That's external obsolescence in your report.

Most people over 70 should consider taking statins, study finds

Now a study has concluded that statin treatment should be considered for most people aged over 70.

The study, published in the academic journal Heart, assessed the health benefits of statins for older people in the UK and found that they were cost-effective and linked to better health outcomes in the over-70s, whether or not patients had a history of cardiovascular disease.

For older people with no history of cardiovascular disease, the reductions in risk were substantially smaller.

The authors cautioned that this was an observational study, and as such, could not establish cause and effect.

Do not take statins. You should read what it can do wrong to you. If you are healthy, look at natural ways to take down inflamation. The problem with arteries is that when they have inflamation the body coats them with guess what. Read up and live a healthior life style. I don' believe much of what is published by big pharma and their lackies..

I’m convinced the citizens of San Francisco are offended by everything except the homeless defecating in their front lawn.
