I tried doing the math and I don't know how the landscaping companies are profitable. The company maintaining my neighbors yards basic package is $500 per month. That includes weekly mowing during mowing season, aerating, testing, fertilizing, weed control, overseeding as necessary. Doing it myself, each application of fertilizer, preemergent, and seeds costs about $400 not including labor.

My guess is all of that basic package is a loss leader and they make money on actual landscaping, hardscaping, and services like tree removal and pruning. Or maybe they are getting all the chemicals and seeds at a much cheaper price than I can.
Just like in appraisal work, all the money is in commercial :censored:

Yeah, they do make a bunch in like plants etc. It is not all weed killing and mowing. I don't even want to guess what somebody would charge me just to do mowing and weed killing. No landscaping involved.

My new mower is cheap compared to what it would cost me. I buy my weed killer online. It is not cheap.

If you have a small yard, no biggie.

I may do a condo on the beach when I sell this place. LOL

I think I could make it in Florida or Alabama or Louisiana and do part time appraisal work and live in a condo. No yard work.

BTW, I did let the lender know about this subject where I think the condo association is going broke. The son is selling to father. Manager said he is way behind on condo dues. He said only like 16 out of 53 are paying regular condo dues. I notified lender you need to give me financials on this condo association. I cannot complete appraisal if you don't. I already notified it won't meet contract price.

I am not playing with it. They can get me the information I need or we can cancel and they can pay me for services rendered. I gave them manager phone number but manager said they called him last week. They will know I mean business. I am not playing around with it. The client can either get me what I need or we are done on this assignment. I set SOW. I know who is responsible for SOW.

I want it to go through my client.

I don't even know how many are owner occupied, vacant or rented. I can't complete assignment without that information and budget on condo association. Not going to complete assignment without client's help.

I have not developed opinion of value yet. No appraisal has been performed yet. I won't complete it unless the client gets me what I need. It is their money on the line. Not mine.

I’m unable to log in to TOTAL. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? I’ve been trying to reach customer support, but no one is answering. Does anyone know what’s going on?

TOTAL is finally working now, but it seems unstable since that two day maintenance. I just wasted two hours trying to log in. I’m starting to consider alternatives has anyone used ClickFORMS or SFREP? I’d appreciate any feedback on which one might be more reliable.

And they want me to switch to Mobile and put 100% confidence in their software.
Yeah right buddy! How bout you get your basic software and xsites to function properly first

Mine is working fine. Tech-support seems to be your only option.
Thank you for the insight, I am currently on hold.
They better not try to charge me the $35 weekend support fee……
I just changed my password for the first time in over 15 years trying to login.

Not happy.
