Answer: One is all you'll find. The rest are out answering Cost to Repair a Little Hole in Drywall.

If behind a door knob, I just install a brass plate and a rubber bumper. If elsewhere, it doesn't take much to fix a small hole like that. Fiberglass tape, skim over it a couple times, and flair out the mud so that you don't notice a hump. Frankly, those repairs cost too much to hire out because it's a 3 trip repair with 3 mudings, then sanding and painting... a $5 problem could costwell over $100 to get a handyman to do it. It's best to buy a neighbor a 6 pack and sweet talk 'em. :)

Does anyone know how much is the cost to repair a hole with the size of a golf ball on the drywall? Do they have to replace the board and paint it over or they can patch it up?

I cant believe how many replies there are to this question. Please tell me this wasn't a lender stip.

my money is on an REO addendum.

First you have to get the Marshall and Swift Repair guide for $69.

Do you want the deluxe patch or the "this is good enough" patch?:new_smile-l:

Rex, the "this is good enough" patch is often a bunch of paper towels and a Skoal lid. Yeap, I've seen it ... and mudded over it. :rof:

I think I'd like to examine some of those "flip this house" type show patches. I would really love to do a Home Inspection on one.:new_smile-l:
