Anyone been adding these AMC's to your E&O as a certificate holder .

How much of your E & O premium is the AMC paying?

Being a certificate holder merely means that they will be informed that the policy is in place--nothing more, nothing less.

This is a common request by municipal, State, and federal clients we serve.

Is that what they have told you? It eliminates the need for them to have E&O and it also costs extra to add them to the policy.

There have been a lot of threads on this topic lately. A quick search will bring them up.

Contact your specific E & O company (The one you actually have) and get their take on it. In fact send them the SPECFIC request fronm SPECIFIC Client request, as words & sentence structure can be very debatable in court of law.

Why is it everyone seems to be upset with Fees, yet many don't want to ask questions to the one they probably pay the highest fee to. (Next to Health Insurance)

I don't mind the E&O fees. They provide a service and are a legitimate business. The AMC"s are taking too much money for nothing. Fire all the $8.00/hr "QC" people who are trying to change the cheapest appraisers into good appraisers, and just pay more fo the good, experienced appraisers.

Next they will want to be named as an additional co-insured on your auto policy.
