Just curious to hear from other appraisers who also do some appraising via a motorcycle. When my appraisal assignments are in the countryside and the temps are not too extreme, I combine business with pleasure by riding on 2 wheels. I would like to hear from other biker appraisers.
Tips or suggestions on organizing your paperwork on the road?

Only unprofessional if your riding a mean chopper.... otherwise sounds like fun. Put your gear in a side bag and your camera around your neck...

"Only unprofessional if your riding a chopper.... " unless, of course, you're also wearing flip flops, cut offs, tank top and a do-rag.

No chopper, I ride a "perfectly respectable" Honda 750 Nighthawk. But I also do wear a high visibility yellow & black riders jacket for my own safety.

Saves on gas but how do you punch in GPS directions, talk on the phone, look at comp sheets, write field notes while having two hands on the wheel, i mean handlebars.

I seriously considered it when gas was approaching $4/gal with no end in site. Enjoy the ride.

Ride that to Sturgis and see how "perfectly respectable" it is. :new_2gunsfiring_v1:

It's a PITA. I love riding, but not trying to find 9 comps...and you will get the cops called on you if your on a motorcycle taking photos of their house.

I have done a couple of appraisals on bicyle...one near my house, the other to take comp photos...

Sounds like a cool way to get around!

I've taken the pontoon to a couple of lake properties. Shorts, T shirt, Flip flops, dogs with me, not to mention a cooler full of beer.woohoo
