BEWARE doing any work for this company, they still owe from files completed in November 2011 & January of 2012 ! They won't respond to e-mail nor phone messages. I have a huge investment of my time, gas money & professional opinion on the line.

I was having problems with them not responding to payment demands. In my last email, I told them that I was exercising my rights under Frank-Dodd to demand payment from their client.

Surprise! Check was send by Fed Ex that very day.

Rice - I've been chasing NREIS for too long for too much money! Can I please beg, borrow or steal your letter's wording?

Sure thing. Send an email to me. hrb(at)bpsnwa(dot)com

REIS not paying

No one in accounting dept returns calls.
They are horrible.

Yep.. you need to go to the lender, and if *they* balk, tell lender you're going to their Regulator. The AMC is the Lender's agent, Lender is responsible for what the AMC does, including stiffing you for your fees.

KStreet Appraisals is another loser

KStreetAppraisals.com is another AMC who is not paying their appraisers. Multiple attempts to try and get paid are futile. They respond with "vendor checks will be paid in May". Hmmmm, its now June, I think.

Nreis

Sharonp did you ever get paid from NREIS? I contacting the lender Nationstar and apparently they are part of NREIS and the branch manager said NREIS is not having financial difficulties . I still have not received payment from an order in January and nobody will return my calls or emails. Who should I contact to file compliants against them? I just want to get paid and then I am going to call them and tell them they are FIRED and to remove me from their approved appraisers list.

I finally spoke to a warm body today at NREIS. She said they will pay up next month. Not holding my breath.

Geez, next month is September. That means you have waited 9+ months.

I would send that letter about contacting the lenders involved. Waiting another 30 days will just lead to waiting an additional 30 beyond that.
