NREIS not paying nor responding- BEWARE

Here is the latest email address for NREIS. subcon.payrequest@nreis.com I finally got paid for cases dating back to January, 2012. There check was received on 07/24/2012. The lady to speak to (or address to) is Austin. She will tell you that you will be put on a "list" that has to be submitted for approval. It will take about three weeks from the date in which she tells your "approval". I billed several lenders directly. 50% of them told me they "suspended" dealings through NREIS. Good Luck

NREIS is headquartered in PA which has a slush fund for appraisers that have not been paid. Contact the state board at the link below, the state banking commission and the Pittsburgh FBI. The owner of this company has had state law suites concerning taxes, Florida properties and other issues. Let’s start getting some of these bad guys on the real hot seats.

Sharonp did you ever get paid from NREIS? I contacting the lender Nationstar and apparently they are part of NREIS and the branch manager said NREIS is not having financial difficulties . I still have not received payment from an order in January and nobody will return my calls or emails. Who should I contact to file compliants against them? I just want to get paid and then I am going to call them and tell them they are FIRED and to remove me from their approved appraisers list.

Angela - it took about 45 days but I was paid IN FULL. I kept calling....

I called that link in PA - and the person there told me to call the Feds - Consumer Protection Group (blah blah) - 1-855-411-2372.

Bill - I was paid in full, then got a new order. That was in June. They have not yet paid for it and are giving me a run around. Last word yesterday was that a check would be cut Friday. All I can say is if you accept work from this company, begin collection efforts immediately after uploading the report. At the least this is a very poorly organized company. At worst, they may be in trouble.

Wow I forgot about NREIS. Sad to see them going down the tubes if that is the case. We used to have a lot of their good paying work back in the real estate hey day. It's been a long time, but I remember them being one of better national clients to work for.
