"Hundreds of thousands of appraisals, evaluations and inspections are ordered and delivered via AppraisalPort each month."

"Effective August 1, 2016, the residential valuation services fee on AppraisalPort will be updated to $14.00."

I'm done with these turds. 40% increase for little or nothing. I first started to have to use them in 2000. It was $6 per report. I'm still getting the same money now that I did then but AP wants more than double and sells my work. I have one client left (a regional bank) that requires I deal with AP. I'm gonna do my best to persuade them to go a different route. If nothing else, I intend to start adding a $25 "AppraisalPort technology fee" to my invoices.

It's a crock. Dear Partner Ben Dover, we are raising our fees to you.
Like they don't get enough from us already.
Need to update my fees too I guess.

Edit. Sounds like they do a lot of biz.
Shouldn't they lower fees and make it up on volume?!

Yeah I saw that today. I have one lender too, $25 sounds fair.

Most of my orders on AP, from one bank client, have fees between $585 and $750 per order. Not sweating this increase in fee from AP. My main complaint with AP is that often I am not sent an email about a new order for 12-20 hours after the lender submits the order. Yeah, AP says its not us, talk to my email service provider. Since only AP emails are delayed, Time Warner says the problem lies with AP, not TW.

I fought that for months with TW / Brighthouse. Finally had to set up another email account just for AP. Yes, a 25$ appraisal port fee sounds about right. I too have only one client that uses them but they are going to have to adapt or screw them. I'm sick of everyone piling fee after fee on us.

Thanks for the heads up. AP will be hearing from me, and I too will be including a $25 AP Technology fee to my fee schedule.

So they're raising their fees by $4? The solution is simple enough, I'm raising mine by $5......for all orders I overbid with the intention to "decline", I'll add a note that my fee has increased by $10 to cover the new appra1slp#rt increase, let them sort it out behind the curtain.

Raising mine $15. Tired of paying AP for delivery only.
Now that ain't workin' that's the way you do it.
Lemme tell ya them guys ain't dumb
Maybe get a blister on your little finger.
