I was thinking, "damn, why didn't I think of this scheme". But that $1000 was too big of a deterrent. Not worth the risk.

Hopefully, you're more ethical than that, right?

Probably one of my biggest faults, I don't realize just how ethically challenged I really am.

He just admitted it, folks. A CG from Sacramento CA who calls himself "reviewbe" has trouble being an ethical appraiser.
This guy is part of the reason we have a public perception problem and high E/O premiums.

Pretty sad the jail time for the appraiser is much more than anyone who will go to jail over stealing customers identities at the banks, or opening credit cards in their name and ruining their credit, or force placing insurance on them.

The penalties should be equal.

That aint really funny dude. Put the pipe down and give it a think. This thread is about a case of very serious fraud, the real kind, not the place the blame on others kind and we all look bad for it.

Appraiser - 166 years and $5million (+$1k)

Bank CEO's for market crash - 0

Just wanted to point that out again.

How about Eugene gets sentenced by a group of his appraisal peers and the public can see for themselves what we think of this scumbag behavior.

And think about all those AMCs that went under owing appraisers money, after the AMCs were paid for those appraisals.

At least their Chief Appraisers were able to find new jobs.
