This Won't end Well for Germany

Putin has stayed in office by not being weak. He is no dummy. To pretend he is because he is a bloodless tyrant and throwback to the days of Stalin only fools ourselves.
And the best way to handle a bully and a tyrant is to what, cave in to their demands? Retreat back to our borders with our "emasculated generals" while giving the middle finger to all of our allies? Exceedingly shortsighted and dangerous point of view I would say.

So you are talking Biden or Obama?

Looks like you were an easy convert, eh comrade?
Once I figure out the point you were trying to make with that I'll devote the time necessary to take a full inventory of your idiocy.

I'm talking about everyone who would rather stand idly by and watch freedom seeking peoples be subjugated by mutual enemies of ours instead of helping them.

President Trump was no more "colluding" with Putin that Obama was. It would be tacky to post the video of Obama with Medvedev, but he - Obama - told Medvedev he'd have "more flexibility" after the election, and their hand shake and the reassuting forearm pat are to any objective eye pretty clear indications that there was some commitment to something Obama was reluctant to vocalize because it might indicate something that he ought not be doing. But let's leave President Trump out of this. Vlad Baby senses that he faces no significant push back from biden (or is it Obama the Second). (Or was Putin not willing to challenge President Trump?)

I agree that there is in this current dust up an eerie similarity to Hitles carving up Europe from the time he bacame Chancellor (1933) and when he invaded Russia in 1941. Putin may be using "false flag" forces as he did when Russia annexed Crimea and when it attacked Georgia.

Obama thought he needed to look tough on Russia because he was pretty sure that was the way to gain Republican votes. It turns out that was a major "misreading of the tea leaves" on his part and that Republicans actually admire the "strength" of dictators. I don't recall Obama drawing moral equivalencies between American and Russian leadership the way Trump did and I don't recall Russian trolls flooding the Internet with fake news designed to help Obama's election campaign either. I certainly don't believe you can draw a valid moral equivalency between the way Trump and Obama administrations handled our nation's relationship with Russia.

Give one hypersonic, orbital nuclear weapon to the President of Ukraine and Taiwan, give it the option of ten strategic targets in Russia and China. Let China and Russia know they have the weapon. Its the Star Wars defense.

No, I suppose not. But speculating about what Obama promised Putin after he (Obama) was reeleced would be interesting to know.

That said, it's tough responding to generalizations about things like "Republicans actually admire the strength of dictators" though I get that President Trump expressed admiration for Putin's concern for his country and his absence of ambiguity about that. And what was with Uranium One anyway? And why were we selling uranium production to Russia?

Taiwan has close to the equivalent of that. China knows that on the first day of the Taiwanese invasion the Three Gorges Dam is going to disappear and wash everything below it away. The Taiwanese military has hinted at such plans.

The criminality of the Clintons could surely fill volumes. It is a well-known fact though that Russia was sending us their weapons grade plutonium for reprocessing into fuel which would be somewhat odd for a country that was trying to steal our uranium ore for nefarious purposes.

The Megatons to Megawatts™ Program was a unique, commercially financed government-industry partnership in which bomb-grade uranium from dismantled Russian nuclear warheads was recycled into low enriched uranium used to produce fuel for American nuclear power plants.
