This Won't end Well for Germany

The same way you missed this I guess –

The Reuters reporter Jeff Mason asked, “President Putin, did you want President Trump to win the election and did you direct any of your officials to help him do that?” But how exactly did Vladimir Putin respond to those pointed questions?

If you listen to the English translation that was broadcast during the press conference, the Russian leader said, “Yes, I did. Yes, I did. Because he talked about bringing the U.S.–Russia relationship back to normal.” This rendering of Putin’s remarks leaves open the possibility that he’s stating “Yes, I did” in reference not just to wanting Donald Trump to win the 2016 presidential race, but also to ordering Russian officials to help Trump win, even though Putin repeatedly denied Russian interference in the election and collusion with the Trump campaign throughout the rest of the news conference.

This is called a difference in POLICY Mike. I 100% support bringing the US-Russia relationship back to normal. Does that make me a "collusionist" with Putin? :ROFLMAO:

Not when we are about to get to the bottom of why a half a centuries worth of multinational military preparations against Russian aggression are being abandoned precisely when they are needed. Donald Trump revived isolationism in this nation with his ill-advised "America First" politics and ever since he defiled our political discourse with that notion anyone who thinks America is stronger with allies is branded a "globalist" to be opposed at all costs.
The other facet on the gem of our relationship with other nations is that we - while Donald Trump was pres - simply insisted that our allies pay what they were obligated to do (to maintain NATO's military preparedness). I don't think the "ill-advised" is an appropriate descriptor for his (or anybody's) "America first" approach to foreign relations - I somehow think it's a good thing that our national interests drive our foreign policy and our foreign commitments. And I don't know where this came from - "...he defiled our political discourse with that notion anyone who thinks America is stronger with allies is branded a "globalist"..."

I knew we would elicit a cascade of denoucements, hazard of engagement.

It does if you had a national intelligence service and diplomatic connections that you immediately put to work in the service of electing Putin and concealed that activity from the rest of the world. Yes, a very nasty collusioinist for sure. Off with your head.

Reading that article led you to believe that Tucker Carlson was being sarcastic when he uttered those words? Really? You better stick with comedy because you're much better at that than media consumption.
The article had nothing to do with my comment. It is what and how Carlson said it. If you take much of what Carlson says literally. It is your TDS getting in the way. IMNSHO. He is one of the most sarcastic pundits on cable TV.

Can you not WAIT just a millisecond so I can properly call you in? (Check the above posts). Sheesh! You spoiled my zinger! :ROFLMAO:

Strange that Germany and some other European countries are taking that same stance concerning Russia and the Ukraine
