Are Staff Appraisers paid customary and reasonable fees?

This exact same argument was made to support indentured servitude and slavery. The capitalist has the upper hand in wage negotiations. Like you said, there's plenty of people desperate enough to take the job because it's either work or starve. Such is life.

My old employer was able to make hundreds of dollars off of me every day. I do 8 desk evals. The company charges the client $150 per eval. They pay me about $400 per day including all expenses. They get to rake in $800 every day, just off of me. Imagine all the other employees.

How about instead of the family at the top taking all of that money to enrich their lives, it is more equitably shared with the people who actually produce the wealth. The workers.

They “rake” in after rent or mortgage on office space-utilities-support staff-supplies and equipment, etc. They pay part of your FICA, too.
I know some people that are clueless when it comes to business expense ratios.

One gets paid an agreed upon wage. Why should I share my profit with you? You took no risk, I did by creating a job for you. It is not a hard concept, really it is not.

The only thing that separates you and everyone else is a stockpile of money. That's not risk. What risk did you take? Seriously. What happens if you fail in your capital venture? You lose money? Oh no!

So there was a previously existing relationship and the job was not your first interaction with them or the result of them making some cold call on the blind basis.

I'm not going to argue the specifics of a situation I can't see in its entirety. The point still remains, regardless of how you ended up working there you still exercised an alternative based on your own priorities. Nobody forced you to do anything. Instead of blaming them for that you should come to terms with how much of your outcome is the direct result of the choices you have made.

People NEED to work to survive. Businesses NEED people to work for them or nothing gets done. I don't understand why you think this is a relevant point. We all need each other. Let's be more equitable and fair with how the wealth is distributed.

Why on earth do you guys treat me like I'm a child? The customer paid $150 in order to verify that their loan request was reasonable. I was the one who did that verification. This is completely separate from the money made on the actual loan. What does overhead have to do with anything? I was including overhead when I said "including expenses"

When I went on my own and realized how cheap the expenses actually are, that was a wake up call. The 'expenses are insane' rhetoric is what kept one person from going out on their own. Now he wishes he did it 5 years earlier.

You SAY you're a libertarian socialist but the only way our society can force employers to share the profits with the workers is via growing and empowering the State to force them to do it. At gunpoint. All "REVOLUTION" means is replacing one govt with another govt. The fckwits in Seattle's CHOP demonstrated that much.

IRL we can't even accomplish an anarcho-syndicate from of governance in our own household, and that's despite the high affinity relationships and familial accountability which exist in a household.

I know my ideas are theoretical and require radical change of thought. I don't expect society to be socialist anytime soon. I don't condone violence. Our current system of capitalism will not last forever. Feudalists never thought the system would change.

I was paid 35% as a trainee, 40% licensed, 45% certified, 50% if I completed my SRA.
I know staff appraisers who were paid by the hour. This is ridiculously to me unless there's a specific reason that I can't think of.

I genuinely don't know what inhouse corelogic/AMC appraisers get paid, but I doubt it's $100k per year. $100k per year is my threshold for some reason. $75k isn't a bad salary at all, I just think appraisers produce more than that working 40-50 hrs a week.
