ACI's closed for the weekend :( I've spoken to other ACI users in my area, and they also lost their map functions. Anybody else here having that problem? Could this be a licensing issue internally, with ACI???

no mismo either, so guess I get the weekend off. And their website will only show in http, not https.

Yes..same issue here. I guess we will have to wait till Monday morning.

Thank you!! I thought it was just me! Been pulling my hair out!!!

I spent all day Monday (the 21st) talking to an ACI tech with a heavy accent, and solved nothing. He tried several things, but had no solutions. Has anyone learned anything new about this?
My maps stopped working at the same time I got some updates from windows...could that relate? Glad to see others are having the same problem, and it isn't just me.

"with a heavy accent". HOW is this relevant and HOW does his "heavy accent" effect his competency???

It didn't effect his competency, and I don't think I implied that. It did affect my ability to understand and execute his suggestions. I only speak one language, and I am not very good at it.
I am also not very good at "reading" accents, so I was saying "Could you please repeat that?" or "Huh?" a lot which made me feel bad because I didn't want to insult him. (He can speak two languages...me, remember, barely one. He is way ahead of me in that department, even with an accent.)
I also spent a couple of hours at the Geek Squad talking to a young guy who had no solutions, and also to a guy at my internet service provider who had a very deep voice, who couldn't help either.
If I had said he had an accent and then suggested it was from a specific language you might have a complaint. As it is, I mentioned a statement of fact. Do you find me having said "...a young guy..." or "...a very deep voice.." to be objectionable?
Sorry if I offended you, or anyone else. There was no intent. Sometimes a statement of fact is just a statement of fact.

Now, has anyone found a solution for this problem yet?

Dropped a math class for the same reason. I could not understand half of what the guy was saying - grad student teacher. After I got someone who could speak plain engrish I passed. Some folks from India and Pakistan are perfectly understandable, some not. But when a heavy accent comes on line and calls himself "David" - we are starting out on the wrong foot when I know he's probably not "David" but you won't understand what his name is.

And when you get 'reviewed' by a foreigner that has nary a clue about the markets or even appraising...it can be very frustrating and time wasting.

if you can, go into recovery and see if you can go back, to re set computer to the day before the problem started. you other option is a needle in the haystack problem find. try doing a SFC / Scannow to see if there are any corrupted files. if it's a registry error, then a registry error finder program may do it. you may never find the problem, in which case you have to uninstall & re install the appraisal program. you don't want to hear the next option if that doesn't work.

My name is Sally, can I have your bank account #?
