It would be here locally on code because of the drop. It would require 36 inch railing and no more than like 4 inch gap in railings. Very minor repair to that house. Real estate agent could absorb it.i don't think it is a local code to have a wall railing there. if nobody else has it, it's accepted by buyers & local codes.
the porch handrail is sufficient to keep anyone from falling off. are you strictly going by code on everything you saw in the house?
The Veteran can ask VA to waive it later, but they have to fill out a waiver and VA makes the decision.Just finish appraisal subject to because of safety issues. Get paid.
VA will have no problems.![]()
St Paul is who I talk to.Guess it really is different from RLC to RLC; Saint Paul RLC is very, very helpful for odd situations like this.

School is down the block. That’s like their weight training facility. Which sounds super fancy but it’s not lol. That's a very odd addictomy to the front of the original lower wall. It's like they built a higher wall instead of taking Dirt away and matching the lower wall.
What's directly across the street? A school, warehouse, or factory of some sort?
That ain't going to happen on safety issues. Forget the waiver. Veterans understand who is in charge very well. The Veteran can ask VA to waive it later, but they have to fill out a waiver and VA makes the decision.
