Alamode total

I'm not sure why any appraiser would choose Alamode when there are more affordable options available that effectively get the job done without breaking the bank. Additionally, Alamode is part of a corporate hegemony that seems intent on driving appraisers out of business. Here are some better solutions.

I’ve explored other solutions several times since the Bigger days but thus far, the others have come up short.

I suspect the new URAR may change lots of things with respect to software competitions.

My costs for elite and a server license is a little better than $3,000.
I knew if you had many users the cost would be way higher. That is just one factor that would run the cost higher. I wasn't expecting $3k. See, I don't know.

I said don't quote me.

Did they specify what they were doing? Sounds like a data center move (from one to another or to from center to cloud or visa versa).

There hasn’t been any real clarity about what they are doing, but they did mention something about their platform being improved or something along those lines. Many assume this has something to do with the new URAR abilities since Baker is already doing education about it, but that’s a guess.

It is back running here. Need to get up early. LOL

Considering their auth and other services like that are down and the length of the downtime, I suspect data center move (copying files takes a while) vs new feature release. Hopefully we get some more insight into what they did.

I'm actually looking forward to the new form format dropping so we can finally do an Alamode Total integration in Appraisal Inbox.

I hope old reports can merge with new forms........at least some of the information.

It is working fine this morning so far.

There will be some general info merging, but the problem is the new drop down menus. The current form doesn't have any, can't see any transfer for a lot of the current form. However, that's not the question. The question is, how much of a template can be made of the new uad3. If you gotta fill out each drop menu on each separate appraisal over and over again, then i will be saying goodbye. Unless i can get a fee increase for the amount of extra work and inspection aggravation.

Its Monday am and I am not operative. I am really peeved. I am an elite member. I have been on hold for a half hour or more now. I have 4 VA reports to submit before I take a trip. Looking for a new software, any recommendations? This is completely unacceptable.

That is weird. One would think if mine is working, yours should be working. I am sure you have restarted the computer and software. Mine started working late last night. Maybe they are having to bring different segments online at different times. I don't know.

I probably would stay on hold and do something else until they answered my call. I would tote my cell phone with me and do something else while I was holding. Let us know what they say when they answer.
