Was just told to remove "places of worship"

House of worship was the generic replacement for Church, Temple, etc. I use the term all the time. I think whoever reviewed your report is hypersensitive.

I will give you a real several good reasons to try and get along. The lender stops using you. the GSE's put you on their of do not use,

AND the biggee You get sued

Snake shakin' party house?

Well...most zoning ordinances I've reviewed allow for churches/etc in residential zones. So non-residential use may not be accurate.
Just start using the word REDACTED for every possible situation. Then define REDACTED in the addenda with the 40 page list of stupidity comprised of words that everyone understands but isn't allowed to use anymore.

(Don't take my advice...I wouldn't touch a mortgage assignment nowadays with someone else's ten foot pole.)

Son we don't give a rat's azz about no Constitution so just change or remove the word or you're going to be looking for new employment soon. Lol )

This is why waivers are being used. Appraisers are to hard to deal with and like to push the irritation button. Lol
So if there's an externality it makes the lenders heads explode?! Geez.... so much for helping gauge the risk of making a sound lending decision....

If appraisers are not needed as much as you say they're not.... I wish they'd just pull the plug sooner rather than later. I mean.... I just finished a USPAP continuing education course. The first 30 to 35% was appraisers are biased, Dei stuff, following a law from 1800 and something.... if they would have pulled the plug I wouldn't have had to take that!

What if the church, house of worship, place of gathering, special use facility, cult animal sacrifice dwelling... whatever... is cater-corner to the subject property and affects value?
I suppose you have to mention it in that case since it is relevant.

I put several people on ignore because their posts are so negative and draining - demoralizing would be the word. Nice as that person may be otherwise.

They did pull the plug you just didn't get the memo. The friendly fast and cheap appraisers are doing 80% of the AMC assignments and there are few direct orders in California and those are complex one's going to the old cranky carmudgeions that only do 1 report a week and think their killing it. Lmao
