Looking for ideas to revamp my workouts

I have lifted weights since high school and was always more focused on strength training, with cardio being tacked on for 10 minutes every so often. Started doing 45 minutes of cardio 3x per week, which has had some benefit.
Trying to round out the routine to include other facets such as power (doing jump squats etc.), rather than just strength. With more emphasis on cardio, my strength has dialed back a bit, but that is OK. Interested to hear what everyone else does here.

Since I have such bad knees, even weightlifting is very painful for me. Walking and low impact exercises is all I can do and even then, my worst knee (the left one) has its limits. I literally am working up to on one-quarter mile on the limits of the left knee. I hope to increase it to one-mile 5 days a week. I had to walk with a cane due to pain and now I still do largely because it helps me more for stability than anything. I don't want to fall. The frustration is after a hyper-extension of the right knee I was able to take therapy on that knee, but the therapist noted that the same exercises were too much for the left knee.

I am just past my mid-60s now. This is coming from someone who used to surf all the time as well as jiu jitsu, golf, and just general bike rides.

Since age has caught up to me like it does for everyone, my primary interest now is to remain pain free, not have muscle imbalances, be limber and able to move.

This is the kind of stuff I'm doing now.

I bought a concept 2 rowing machine two years ago and it is the best purchase I ever made. It is a full-body workout, very low-impact. If you get a rowing machine, buy a good one not a cheap one. I combine it with walking, biking, some light weights, pushups and a bit of yoga and stretching.

.

I havn't been doing anything other than normal day-to-day activities. Pickleball, mountain biking, skiing, snow shoveling, etc. Mostly just stuff with kids.

Good deal, this is some of what I've been trying to incorporate lately. I ran a 10k without training about 15 years ago and hurt my knees, so I treated them with kid gloves for a long time, but then realized that was counterproductive. Doing deep squats every morning, but this video adds some dimensions to that. My wife says that my duck walks at 5:30 in the morning are straight from a horror film :-)

Yeah, that Moves methods girl has a ton of videos if you just tap on her name to give you different ideas exercises / stretches on limbering up. Search her videos for hanging from a pull-up bar, really ingenious.

Do the exercise in the last video at 4 minutes in. This one's really helping my aching hips.

It's interesting how the intensity and type of workout changes over time. Did martial arts (TKD and JJJ) and off road biking for about 15 years. Now my routines consist of picking cherries, jumping jacks, planks, tai chi, and yoga. If I tried a jumping roundhouse kick these days I'd end up in the hospital.

Have you considered a knee replacement. I had one and my wife had two and it was well worth the short rehab

Have you considered a knee replacement.
Due to complications with other disease my surgery was canceled last year. As slow as it has been, my knee is fairly well recovered prolly 90% or so. A friend had knee surgery the same month mine was scheduled and she is having serious pain issues although the joint is completely healed. And another friend developed serious issues with scar tissue. They've had to operate a second time. If it hurts too much I may consider Genicular Artery Embolization (GSE) which attacks the pain via sort of control on a blood vessels in the knee.
