3.6 Policy Exception

Of course, they'll claim it wasn't because of any one provider, but several providers have offerings that appraisers are delivering on every single day. Good to know favoritism isn't dead. I know they don't claim to be in the business of propping up flailing companies, but it appears they are.
On different forums appraisers have had trouble with a variety of software companies getting a 3.6 completed and submitted. Many have received a new engagement for a 2.6 instead of 3.6.

I don't think it is just a provider problem. If you look at the exemption form, there are various reasons that they might grant an exemption, software provider is just one of five

I know a few appraisers who have tried taking a 3.6 order got several hours into it and realized they were wasting their time so they called the client to cancel it. They were all told just do it on a 2.6.

I can’t believe we’re even here discussing this. Why is producing what should be a fairly simple opinion of value report on a piece of real estate so goddamn complicated?

meh. I can only share my experience, and that's that we are receiving dozens of reports a day.

Because they need your data to replace you.

Because they want to steal our data inputs and put us out to pasture...
