I'm a little slow here, hope it's working OK now. But for the future, moving program directories and files around can definitely screw things up as you've seen.
So to make space on drive C, move your DATA files to drive D. You can have ACI point to a directory you create on D if you want to save your ACI files in. If you keep photos, letters, movies, music, or other data files around, you can move those to D as well without much problem. When you click file open you may have to browse to the right drive and directory. Or burn the old data files you probably don't need to a CD for posterity, and delete 'em.
Just don't mess with the program directories and files.
