I am in MN. As of Dec. 25th, 2023 5:20 PM my ACI Software NON FUNCTIONAL. No maps, No XML, Cannot complete a report.
According to the First American Finanical Web Site, which owns and runs ACI Software there is no mention that they have put their systems back online.
Almost ALL clients have already pulled files away from Appraisers who use ACI Software, and refuse to send any new orders period.
I don't see how anyone can say that they are back up and running normal, that just isn't true. I cannot believe it is functional in some area's of the Country?
It for sure IS Not in MN!

The internet is just like a freeway and appraisal sites are not designed to handle thousands of appraisals all at the same time trying to get on a normally low volume plat form. Its Christmas and lines are flooded on all sites and usually Appraisal Sites would be dead, There is nobody working today anyways at your AMC or lenders so relax and stay off the site, and once things will get back to normal in a few days, BUT I would try at say 11 PM or later when traffic is low. BUT YES some States are up before others. :) LMAO

Sorry to hear that....your clients showed their true colors by pulling the rug from under you guys. They could have waited till after Christmas to see if ACI got their act together.

My guess is the software provider may have bigger issues then what is being told too appraisers, but thats only a guess, but I do know that no AMC or Lender is sitting in their office on Christmas waiting for an appraisal to be delivered. When a Major Title Companies systems are hacked or are down no tile Reports are going out either and its a train wreck in the last two weeks of December.

I dont think any software company is able to convert ACI files to XML. If ACI restoes their system, companies who sent notices regarding not accepting this product, will, most likely reverse their decision. The question is, HOW LONG DO WE WAIT ?

Are First American Financial and First American Title tight with same parent company or belong each other? What I heard is: recently many hackers are targeting title company to steal the data, the same for Chicago Title, Fidelity National Title, Old Republic Title. so and so on. Because there are lots information in those title company website / server, like owner(s)' name, cell#, loan amount, lender information. etc., hackers use those information to target or hacker homeowners or sell the data to someone to solicit their business. If so, that's why ACI is down these days since I know First American Title whole system is down these days.

A message on NAN today said don't even submit completed reports from ACI only if you convert to different software
