ACI Is Not Running Again

I am in MN. As of Dec. 25th, 2023 5:20 PM my ACI Software NON FUNCTIONAL. No maps, No XML, Cannot complete a report.
According to the First American Finanical Web Site, which owns and runs ACI Software there is no mention that they have put their systems back online.
Almost ALL clients have already pulled files away from Appraisers who use ACI Software, and refuse to send any new orders period.
I don't see how anyone can say that they are back up and running normal, that just isn't true. I cannot believe it is functional in some area's of the Country?
It for sure IS Not in MN!
I am in Michigan-My reports do not work either. I have gone to the First American site that reads that they will post any updates. The last post was from 12/22. The reports are still not working.

I think at this point, you might as well load new software and start from scratch. SFREP will give you a six month free trial - i mean how can you beat that? Remember Corelogic owns Total if you buy that you are buying a company that was split off of First American in 2010. So they may have related computer issues and related weaknesses in their systems - just saying.... Total will be the next most vulnerable provider, right?

I've loved being a real estate appraiser in 2023, lol. First, business is off 50% to 70% from past years. Secondly, the MLS system in Cincinnati was hacked and essentially down or partially functioning for 3 months. Now my ACI appraisal software is down and I can't get reports out. No bueno amigos, no beuno.

Not functioning in Cincinnati. I was able to utilize my location maps on Saturday for a private report which I converted to PDF format. But location maps are not available today 12/26

makes zero sense. total leads the way in technology for appraisers. having used both and hearing of clickforms complaints from a friend, make your 2024 more enjoyable, get Total and drop ACI.

On 12/23 around 3:30 a.m. it was working for a brief period of time - I was able to submit a few reports. I signed up for alamode at 6:54 a.m. on 12/21 and have called them many times - now I tried e-mailing them and their rep is on vacation. I also dowloaded click forms, but it is like greek, I cannot even figure out how to add photos pages. Plus, if you already completed the report in ACI - which I have done with all of the ones I have in the hopper, you cannot convert them from ACI without the xml.....this is crazy! My husband and I are attorneys too so the conversations around here have been super intresting!! LOL!!!

Total has been a bust during this - at 6:54 a.m. on 12/21 I signed up online with their trial - it said they would call me. They did not, so I tried calling over 20 times every day since. Finally just e-mailed the gentleman whose name the trial indicated would contact me on 12/21 and he is now on vacation until 1/2. No thanks!

The internet is just like a freeway and appraisal sites are not designed to handle thousands of appraisals all at the same time trying to get on a normally low volume plat form. Its Christmas and lines are flooded on all sites and usually Appraisal Sites would be dead, There is nobody working today anyways at your AMC or lenders so relax and stay off the site, and once things will get back to normal in a few days, BUT I would try at say 11 PM or later when traffic is low. BUT YES some States are up before others. :) LMAO
Thank you - that makes sense!! I was able to do some stuff on Saturday at 3:30 a.m.!! Ok - will try that again.

I bought a Total license last week and have spent time learning how to use it. Be sure when you start a new report that it is UAD compliant. Start a new report using the order form too. Also, watch the tutorial. I have not needed any support since I started using the software. It is going to take extra time to produce a report using it the first few times but by the second or third report you should be able to be proficient. At least that is my own experience over the past five days. I bought a subscription to the InterFlood maps too. And I am using my Apex 7 sketch program with it.
