It is about as appealing a profession as recycling cans of old paint (that is a real job and cities use the recycled stuff to cover over tagger's work) and makes being a CPA seem exciting at times.
 
Expanding on what Marion posted, "experience" is part of the profile of this profession. Like it or not a 25 year old CG blowing up a multi-million dollar project isn't going to go over well with any loan committee. There's a certain amount of respect a 50 year old gets by virtue of his/her "experience" that no 25 year old will ever get.

If fees rise young males would love this profession. To become your own boss, set your schedule, take vacations when you want, work from home, etc...
