AI Creates Residential Appraiser Project Team

Last year at a Regional Meeting in Seattle, I worked on a focus group that discussed the residential issue; I compiled our results and it is my understanding they were sent to the Project Team.
I can tell you (and everyone else here! :rof:) that as an active-member of the Appraisal Institute, whenever I get the chance to advocate for positive changes regarding the residential segment of appraisers and our organization, I make my voice heard loud and clear; I am not the only one. And, things are moving in that direction. ;)
Thank you kind sir!

I think a CE format that meets once a month for 1 hour and 15 minutes might be a good way to gather residential appraisers for local chapters. 1 hour and 15 minutes once and month to fulfill the 14 hour per year CE requirement. You pay for the whole year of CE up front like a subscription. I am not sure if a CE format like this can get approved but if it can I think it could gather many appraisers locally on a regular basis. Instead of individual courses a annual curriculum.

Maybe AI should join the ranks again.

A house divided against itself will fall. AI may be one of the first dominos unfortunately. Pride cometh before the fall.

I think all organizations are in jeopardy. I compare the appraisal profession so much to the health care industry. They are so similar.

If you don't have members, you fall, basicly. The profession is too divided.

AI group first meeting...where they sacrifice Tobias the Cat to the gods...

can we reduce SRA dues? Maybe a little?

As a former member, I just hope it works and is not lip service.
