AIVRE will steal your data to train AI.

Interesting that the waiver rate was so high on purchases (at least I assume they're purchases in a new subdivision). It was/is my understanding that purchase waivers are only in the 10-15% range.
Not just new subdivisions, condos also. I rarely see any bid requests for condos these days. It went from a few a week to a few a year.

À la mode has always had similar language in their user agreements.

Thanks for posting this!

I never had any interest in switching to AIVRE, but good intel for people who seem awestruck by their spin.
They will eventually sell that company for millions of dollars due to the AI valuation tools trained on the back of appraisers stolen data and analysis. Jake and the boys will then retire to some beach, while the regular appraiser sees their work dry up due to their own use of AIVRE. It's an incredible grift that they have spun. Just pure evil.

But do you think they have enough appraisers signing up? They seem a little desperate now, sending out lots of emails every week. The price alone is enough to turn me off to their snake oil product, plus the AI is so unreliable it's a waste of time and money to use it.

In my opinion they are completely unusable due to the data theft. I mean, they want you to pay $3k a year for the privilege to steal your data. I do not know the numbers that are using them but the industry shills seem to be pushing the appraisers to use them. It's a chickens for KFC situation.

I don't 100% agree with OP argument. If they are mining our data in order to get rid of us, where will they mine the data when we are gone? In general, I see their point. It is not anything the GSEs aren't already doing. I think AIVRE will be selling mined data just like CORELOGIC, et al have been doing for years. Again, if they extinguish the data miners, there is no data to mine and sell.......
Yes appraisers are being transitioned to data collectors. The human appraisal will be phased out.

I’m sure they’re all doing the same thing. I’ll stick with the company that I’ve been with for 25 years. I believe in loyalty. Or at least give them the first opportunity. All the software sucks , or moreso it’s probably the new form that sucks more so than the software, so it won’t make much of a difference which one you pick.

Tech bros make my skin crawl so I try to give them as little amount of business as I can.
