1. Extra trip fee.
2. Notify lender immediatly by fax that you were not permitted to complete the inspection and this will delay the report.
3. Do not make an extra effort to cover the agents tail but simple put the inspection back in your normal inspection schedule when an opening is available.
This was poor planning on the part of the listing agent. I do not often have to have an agent with me when I do a house but when one is going to be there I tell them up front that I will need access to the house for a minimum of one hour. I will usually complete the inspection, take photos, etc. in much less time but I don't want them putting pressure on me to finish quickly. That's when you overlook something.
As far as the comments about the other appraiser being in and out, simple tell them that we all do things in different ways. He may have his but you have yours and are not cutting corners just to look like someone else....Period!
