Oh well,
So much for saving the world from CO2 Darn planet will not get with the program.
waves of molten LAVA crash into a volcanic 'shore': Stunning footage of Hawaii's Kilauea volcano tearing itself apart caught on camera
The outbreak is around 1,320ft (0.25 miles) long and the crust has been repeatedly cracking and oozing lava since last week.
Kilauea is the most southeastern volcano on Hawaii.
An eruption, which began in 1983 along the east rift zone, has been producing lava flows from the cone of Pu'u 'O'o vent for more than two decades.
This lava moves through what's known as a tube system down the slope of Pulama pali.
The volcano's caldera saw nearly continuous activity during the 19th century and the early part of this century.
Since 1952 there have been 34 eruptions, and as a result, Kilauea ranks among the world's most active volcanoes. It is also said to be home of the Hawaiian volcano goddess Pele.

Excessive CO2 emissions (and maybe lava) threaten endangered pink iguanas in the Galapagos
Big geologic news out of the Galapago Islands where the Wolf volcano, dormant for the past 33 years, came back to life this week, belching global-warming causing gasses into the atmosphere with absolutely no concern whatsoever of its carbon footprint:
We should probably ban plate tectonics (or tax them) if Gaia is going to keep acting like a total jerk.
Wolf volcano is also home to the world’s only population of pink iguanas. The lizards, thankfully, are safe for now, but who knows what terrors the Earth has in store for them next?
